Welcome to French Connections, online, where you will find a sampling of the authentic French & African antiques, art & crafts we carry in our store. You will also find our large selection of French (Marat, Souleiado, UTP, Valdrôme...) and African fabrics (GTP, Sotiba, Woodin) - great for quilting and home decorating. We are direct importers, buying from individual artists, cooperatives, small businesses and industries that produce goods for their local markets. 

Sunday August 3rd thru Wednesday August 6th: Jewelry and bead expo/sale. We are very excited that our old friend Peace Corps Baba is coming to town for First Sunday in August. When we lived in Senegal, Baba, whose real name is Oumar Cisse, would come to our house from time to time to sell us African trade beads. Now we buy our African jewelry from him. Come meet him and see his amazing variety of wonderful jewelry !!! Hours Mon-Sat 10-5, 1st Sunday 12-5.

Using our search engine: Our search engine will give you results for every word and partial word that you type (ouch!), so if you are looking for "La petite fleur des champs" you will get 43 pages to comb through!!! Try to use one word at a time and be specific. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Color of fabrics: Oh how frustrating color can be on a computer screen!!! If you have a question about color we will be happy to compare colors to the "3-in-1 Color tool" by Joen Wolfrom and let you know. Just send us an email.

Payment: Please note that you will be sent to Paypal to pay for your order with a credit card. You do not need a Paypal account to complete the payment, nor will you need to create a Paypal account. They simply process the charges for us and put the funds in our Paypal account. If you wish to send us a check or call us to give us your credit card information over the phone, please "continue" until you arrive at the Paypal page. You do not have to make the payment there, but this will send your order to us. Thank you!
